This is the album cover for wall of arms by the maccabees. This is the second album from the maccabees. The album cover is really just a plain cover witha white and grey background.

The album has an image of the band on but the band has been made to look like they are painted. This could show that they are confidant that they have an audiance because they dont need to show there faces to be known.

The artist name and album name are at the top of the album above the image and is in a simple font.

Diamonds aren't forever music video

This is the music video for the song diamonds aren't forever by bring me the horizon.

This video has been made using one of there live gigs. All shots used in this video last no longer than 3 seconds, which is used to keep the audiance entertained.

This video has many different types of shots used; medium shot, close up, high angle, low angle, canted angle, also different movements are used such as pans, tilts, dolly shots, hand held, zoom lense. The video is censored because of the swearing.

BMTH suicide season promotional poster

This is the promotional poster for the album suicide season by bring me the horizon.

Th cover has elements of the album cover as it has the same iamge except it is only half the image as it is on the right hand side of the poster. Also it has the band name and album name in the same font except it is black on the poster and this could be to make it stand out more as they are promoting it.

The poster includes the release date of the album and also says where you can pre-order the album from.

This poster would bhe used over the internet as it says click here to pre-order but the poster which would be used on shops would be the same other that the click here section.

BMTH suicide season album cover.

This is the album cover for bring me the horizon's suicide season.

This album cover consists of a white background with a women who is made to look like she is holding intestines or has them hor hands. This could represent the band as quite brutal.

The band name and album name are in a bold and dull font. Also the font colour is like a see through white colour so that you can jus see it over the white background and the image of the woman.

The cover is very simple and has nothing on or than one image, band name and album name.

American Sweethearts video

This is the music video for american sweethearts by fall out boy. This video is an animated video which the band members are in. The band members aren't aminated but all the other elements in the video are.

All the shots in the video last no longer than 5 seconds and this is so that it intrests the audiance and they ont get bored of one shot.
The video shows like a hollywood element with the press and the celbrity's. The video shows people at there homes watching the video on there TV and then they get brought into there tv and end up in this animated world where they are aminated.

Folie a deux promotional poster

This is the promotional poster for the album folie a deux. The poster is abit different from the album as the colour is different, the font and also the bear.

The colour on the poster is a dull green whereas the album is a red and dark red colour. The bear on the poster is the type of bear that a kid would have as its more of a childish bear whereas on the album its a man in a bear costume and a real bear. The bear on the poster is shown to be drunk on the floor and also abit torn up.

There is also no connection through the band name font as it is different on all the album covers but the album name is the same font as on the album.

Folie a deux album cover

This is the album cover of folie a deux by fall out boy. Th album is there latest album and it doesn't consist of a image of the band, this could be because they know that they are well known so they don't need an image to show who they are.

The colour of the cover starts off red at the top and from the middle the colour starts to darken and at the bottom is a very dark red.

The image on the album is a cartoon image which consists of a man dressed up in a bear costume carrying a bear on his back. This image could show that they have had to work hard to get where they have got to as a band.

The band name is to the left of the image and the album name is to the right of the image.

The kooks music video.

This is the kooks music video for the song 'You don't love me'.
This video consists of only two things which are shots from a live gig and shots of them backstage.
There are many different angles used in this video; crowdview, pan, longshot, medium shot, close up, lowshot, high angle, eye level. All these shots last no longer than three seconds and are changing from shot to shot. The crowdview shot in this video is used alot because it shows what the crowd are seeing and also puts you in there position. And also the eye level shot is used alot on stage looking towards the crowd and this shows what the band see.

The whole video is also shot in black and white which relates back to the album cover and album poster.

The kooks poster

This is the poster to the album inside in inside out by the kooks. The poster is really just the image off the album cover accept the colour of the picture is more grey and less white. Also the album title has been brought of and the band name has been made bigger.

The Kooks Album Cover

This is the first album by the kooks called inside in inside out. The album cover is genrally just a laid back picture of the band, it is laid back because none of the band members are posing or looking at the camera. The picture consists of band lead singer, guitarists and drummer.

The lead singer and lead guitarist are at the front of the pictur both sitting down and playing there guitars. The next guitarist is sitting back abit more and not playing his guitar also leading with his head on the wall. Next to him there is a mirror where you can see the drummer in the background, this could suggest that alot of band drummers aren't as much noticed in the band as the singer and guitarists.

The cover cosists of only three colours; black, white and red, the image is black and white and the album name is in red. As the image of the band is black and white it could me that they do not see them selfs as a well known band and could also mean that they don't like press or the hype.
